We were approached to develop this half built concrete shell located in the countryside on the outskirts of Abuja Nigeria’s capital city, and transform it into a luxury hotel. The big idea was to insert timber louvred boxes containing the hotel suites within the existing portal frame. Internally slick modernist design was balanced with timber and African fabrics.
