As design consultants to multi-national company Landor, we were requested to assist in the
design concept of a new data centre for Bahrain Telecommunications giant Batelco. Asked to
distill the essence of the Batelco brand design in a simple yet unique building which met strict technical and security requirements we came up
with the idea of the simple black box! a simple form clad in polycarbonate sculpted by the simple elegant angles of the national flag of Bahrain to form a distinct yet understated entrance.
