Our success story

We are not claiming to be heavyweights, but we do pack a powerful punch.

We recognise that every situation is different. From 3 locations over 5 years we have worked on a variety of projects across the world, and achieved alot;

1000’s of good ideas, 242 Projects, 26 Countries, 15 Major Cities, 13 Publication Features, 3 Competition Winning Entries, 2 London Open Houses, 1 European Award, 1 Regional Award, 1 International Award Commendation.

Kenan was responsible for setting up this studio in 2004 together with Jacob Low. He is a design architect with 20 years experience, and has a wealth of experience from senior positions in larger architectural practices in the UK, including extensive experience in design feasibility studies working with RTKL.

As a particularly design conscious architect with an extensive experience he has delivered projects ranging from bespoke retail outlets through to town planning master plans. All his projects are united in concern for both internal and external space, using architectural design that adds value to homes and commercial buildings alike.

His recent experience covers a variety of projects, including several large scale feasabilities studies for mixed developments in Russia and Georgia, and most notably the award winning competition for the British High Commission in Abuja, Nigeria.

Jacob originally trained as a 3d designer in London, and now has over 10 years experience in Architecture + Interior Design.

As a highly creative designer his expertise is wide ranging, and has a talent of being able to apply his unique skills to different scales of projects from large scale buildings to bespoke furniture. He has worked as a design consultant to a several large design and architecural practices and developers most notably RTKL and Landor Dubai.

He is a senior design creative, and his extensive experience includes involvement in the BCO nominated fitout for BT Wholesale HQ in 2004, and the design and delivery of Four Corners Film Workshop which was nominated for an EEC development award in 2006.

Boris is a RIBA registered Architect who joined the practice in the 2004 after almost twenty years of experience working in large architectural practices both in the UK and abroad.

His expertise is wide ranging encompassing planning, procurement and funding issues. Sectors of architectural expertise include residential and mixed use projects, sports and leisure facilities, as well as commercial office accommodation. As a qualified project manager he brings skills in the delivery across a range of projects, ensuring effective working relationships and co-ordination between all team members.

Boris is responsible for the implementation and delivery of all JaK projects including media print and production centre Horizon IMPZ, and the Batelco Data Centre both currently at the design development stage in Dubai, UAE.

Nabil is an architect with over 10 years experience in Architecture + Interior Design.

Over these years he has worked in a variety of roles for interior designers, design led architectural practices and large property development companies.

Most recently as design head in Alinma Bank developing their landmark standalone branches in Saudi Arabia. He is a senior design creative, and his extensive experience of commercial feasability studies and fitouts.

Nabil is currently in the process of establishing the Saudi Arabian branch of JaK dNa, inorder to deal with an increasing workload in the Middle Eastern region.

Nedzad is an Architect who studied at Sarajevo University and has been an invaluable full time member of JaK Studio since 2007.

As a highly creative designer his expertise is wide ranging and has worked on a variety of different scales of projects from large scale buildings to interior fitouts. He has recently been intensely involved on many architectural and interior projects within the study such as BCFC St Andrews Stadium masterplan or recent competition entries such as the 2012 Olympic pavilion in Trafalger Square.

He is responsible for managing the production of all cgi imagery and presentations within the studio including animations.
